Jublia (Efinaconazole) is a FDA-approved prescription medication that is used to treat toenail fungus (onychomycosis). Efinaconazole is an antifungal medication that fights infections caused by fungus. Jublia is a clear solution that is colorless to pale yellow solution. This medication is supposed to be used on nails and surrounding skin only.
Side Effects and Precautions
The common side effects may include ingrown toenail, itching and pain or irritation where the medication is applied. The serious side effects may include:

• Swelling of the affected toenail
You should not use Jublia if you are allergic to Efinaconazole. Before you start using this medication, talk to your doctor about your medical condition and about all the medications you are currently taking including OTC medications. It is unknown whether Jublia will harm an unborn baby. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while using this medication. It is unknown whether Efinaconazole passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Inform your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
